Henglong Group attaches great importance to technological improvement. It has established three Research & Development Centers, an Automotive Technology Research Institute, one province-level technology center, production laboratories and proving grounds.

The Group has cooperated with numerous high-level universities such as Tsinghua University and China University of Geosciences, as well as companies like Bishop (Australia), Delphi (Korea) and Namyang (Korea). The Group has obtained many national patents for independently developed techniques and products.

In addition to traditional steering systems, the Group has developed various industry-leading auto steering systems such as EHPS, variable-ratio R&P steering systems, and intelligent RCB systems, including an Angular-Torque Sensor for steering systems.
